finally crocheted a rug for my grandfather using the old red sheets that my grandmother always had on their bed. I worked on it while sitting talking with him this summer... and when I finished he said... "now that your finished, I hope you were making that for me... I always hated those sheets." laughter

Boo Peep Gallery 2008

another bed of wool found in the street months ago... then Sebas came asking if i could make the sacrificial sheep for a theatre play of Buñuel.
...in relation i made an early Boo Peep Gallery 2008.
The gallery is a project about empty spaces. This is the most beautiful one in my hood.
however, due to the last minute decision to just get the wool out of the studio... there was not an inagurational event, just a quiet short night with the mother and her twins, in which one unfortunately was born with three heads and probably won´t live very long.

not much came of this festival on a personal level, but good people and creative idea. Hint: don´t eat half-open clams o drink XXX belgium beer.
